Thes are the people who make the characters what they are and what we know them as. You'll notice that those who voice act for Inu-Yasha also voice act in other Takahashi works.

Inu-Yasha

Kappei Yamaguchi made his voice acting debut in the role of male Ranma from Ranma ½. He has also portrayed Shinichi Kudo in Detective Conan and Tombo in Kiki's Delivery Service.
The English voice for Inu-Yasha is provided by Richard Cox who is coincidentally also the English voice of male Ranma from Ranma ½, as well as Kai Shiden in Mobile Suit Gundam and Bit Cloud in ZOIDS. He also does QuickSilver from X-Men.


Kagome

Satsuki Yukino plays Kagome in Japanese. Her previous work includes the role of Sylia in Bubblegum Crisis 2040, Mutsumi Otohime in Love Hina, and Milly Thompson in Trigun.
Moneca Stori handles the English half of Kagome. Before Inu-Yasha Moneca's rolls included Kei Amamiya in Jin-Roh, Princess Ori in Ranma ½, Lura form Hamtaro and Sally Po and Catherine Bloom in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.

Shippo

Kumiko Wantanabe's career stretches back to the 1980s. One of her earliest roles was Jun Yamato in Ronin Warriors. Her other work includes Alfreed in The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Kurayago in Hakkenden, JunJun in Sailor Moon and C-ko in Revolutionary Girl Utena.
Jillian Michaels does a few other voices for Inu-Yasha which include Princess Tsuyu and Yuka. Outside of Inu-Yasha she voiced Rosa Cheyenne in Silent Möbius, Comodo Mahama in Brain Powered and Al Bowen in Project ARMS.

Miroku

Koji Tsujitani worked his way up from playing Ranma's buddy Hiroshi in Ranma ½ to the major role of the lustful monk. Previously he played Kubo in Otaku no Video, Maeda Mitsuru in Roujin Z, Fujima Kenji in Slam Dunk, Jujuka in The Vision of Escaflowne, Ryu in Street Fighter II V, and Yakumo Fujii in 3x3 Eyes.
Kirby Morrow is also a former Ranma ½ cast member where he portrayed Picolet Chardin II. He first gained attention as Trowa Barton in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Like Koji he was also in Vision of Escaflowne but in the role of Van Fanel. Kirby does alot of other stuff  too.

 

Sango

Houko Kuwashima previous roles include Ayako Nanigawa in Detective Conan, Kaitou Jeanne in Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Yurika Misumaru in Martial Successor Nadesico, and Mei Ling in the video game Metal Gear Solid. She's had quite a few large roles and has become one of the big names on the voice acting scene in Japan.
The English voice for Sango is a big name in North America. Kelly Sheridan is best known as Ukyo Kuonji on Ranma ½, but her other roles include Hitomi Kanzaki in The Vision of Escaflowne, Lena in ZOIDS, Miharu Ratokie in Mobile Suit Gundam, Yuki Saiko in Silent Moebius, and Hamaji in The Hakkenden.

Sessho-Maru

Ken Narita gives Sessho-maru his ultra-high class Japanese voice. Ken's previous work includes Fuma Mono in X, and Komi in Magical Stage Fancy Lala.
The calm voice behind Sessho-maru in English is David Kaye. David is probably best known as Soun Tendo from Ranma ½.. His other roles include Treize Kushirenada in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Master in Maison Ikkoku, and Kim Kaphwan in Fatal Fury.

 

Kikyo

Most Takahashi fans will know Noriko Hidaka, the voice of Ranma ½'s Akane Tendo. Noriko also played Jean in Nadia of the Blue Water and Satsuki in My Neighbor Totoro.
Equally well known to English speaking Takahashi fans is Willow Johnson, Kikyo's English voice. Willow was also on Ranma ½ as Kasumi Tendo. She also played Mobile Suit Gundam's legendary Lalah Sune and Lily McGuire in Fatal Fury.

 

Kouga

Taiki Matsuno provides Koga with his Japanese voice. His previous work includes Rice Rice in One Piece, Kazu in Dragon League, Kintaro in Ge Ge Ge no Kintaro and he was also the Japanese voice of Teddy Ruxpin.
Scott McNeil is the English voice behind Koga. His previous work includes Principal Kuno in Ranma ½, Duo Maxwell in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Takai in Sanctuary, and Piccolo in Dragon Ball Z.
